YORK - York held strong against Bethany College for 36 minutes of play. That was when Bethany's Juliana Lopez scored the first of her two goals as the Swedes went on to win 3-0.

Cassandra Martinez (SR/Madera, Calif) had six saves on the afternoon, but the three goals that went in were too much for the Panthers. York had five shots on goal, two of which were by Chailey Bollens (SO/Trabuco Canyon, Calif). Jazmin Pineda (SO/San Diego, Calif), Justine Medina (SR/Fontana, Calif), and Andrea Cadavid (SO/Cali, Colombia) were the only other Panthers to be credited with a shot on goal.

York hosts Kansas Wesleyan on Saturday afternoon with the kickoff slated for 1:00 p.m.
