SEWARD - York College faced off against Concordia University in the season opener Wednesday night. The Bulldogs controlled the match from the get-go as they won 25-10, 25-6, 25-13.

York's offense struggled as they hit -.013 on the night and accumulated just 16 kills on 77 attempts. The Bulldogs, on the other hand, pounded out 43 kills in just 76 attempts.

Shiloh Lively (SO/Las Vegas, Nev) led the Panthers with five kills and a .118 hittings percentage. Tori Schindler (JR/Longmont, Colo) added three kills but had four errors. Kayli Riesgo (SR/Tuscon, Ariz) had 11 assists, while Alexas Kuehn (FR/Minden, Neb) led the team with seven digs.

The Panthers travel to Hutchinson, Kansas this weekend for the KCAC Fall Fling where they will play four matches over the weekend.
