The game was a very physical match where there were more cards given than shots on goal. Two red cards were distributed to each team, which saw the game at a 9-on-9 matchup the final 10 minutes of play.
Vitor Timm (JR/Porto Alegre, Brazil) led the Panthers with three shots on goal. He was the only Panther with multiple shots on goal. Matias Castano (JR/Payson, Utah) and Otavio Avila (SO/Morro Redondo, RS Brazil) were the other two Panthers to record a shot on goal. Ethan Harkless (FR/Greeley, CO) was strong in goal once again for York. As the reigning KCAC Defender of the Week he didn't allow a goal and picked up five saves.
