Ottawa, KAN. - York College battled hard all night but the ball just didn't bounce the Panthers' way in the 1-0 loss at Ottawa. York produced 10 shots on the night, six of which were on goal, but couldn't find the back of the net. Ottawa's goalkeeper had a stellar game in goal, and was aided by his goalposts as well with the Panthers striking the crossbar and post at different times on the night.

Cristofer Monje faced three tough shots all night, but it was the third on in the 77th minute of play that doomed the Panthers. York pressed hard over the final 15 minutes of play but couldn't find the equalizer.

The game was very physical was there were 11 cards given throughout the contest, including two red cards on the Braves.

York will regroup and be back on the pitch this Saturday with a game against Avila University.
