Box Score Yankton, S.D. - York University's Paisly Cleveland scored in the 27th minute to tie the game against Mount Marty 1-1. It was the final goal of the game for either team as the game ended in a draw after 90 minutes of play. York was very efficient offensively as all ten of their shots were on goal. However, the Lancers' goalkeeper was stellar in the match as she saved nine of them.
Cleveland scored on a free kick from about 25 yards out as she drilled the ball in the near past right around the wall. Nora Martin-Mora led the Panthers with three shots, but all of them were saved.
Mount Marty had just two shots on goal, the first one of the game went past Lia Krohe in the fifth minute.
The Panthers will host Presentation College on Sunday afternoon in their first home game of the season. The game is scheduled for a 1:00 p.m. start at the Cornerstone Sports Complex.
