York led at the break against ranked Southwestern College, but the Moundbuilders bounced back to outscore the Panthers by 18 points in the second half to take the win 83-72.
York pressured the Moundbuilders during the first half and had them playing on their heals for the first 20 minutes. The Panthers defense held the KCAC leading scorer, Cevin Clark, to just 11 points in the first half, well below his season average.
Unfortunately a couple of tough calls went against the Panthers and four free throws to Clark got his momentum going and he ended the night with 36 points.

Four Panthers scored in double figures and were led by JadenAdnerson with 19. DJ Leaks finished with 12, while Dwight Glover and Much Biel each added 12.
York made only two three-point attempts all night shooting under 12% from beyond the arc.

Southwestern went on a 10-0 run to take a 70-63 lead with under five minutes to go in the half. Over the final seven minutes of the game the Moundbuilders outscored York 23-9.
