York came out to play against a tough Sterling team and looked to have their best chance of beating the Warriors since 2013. Unfortunately the Panthers had to deal with Korynn Clason who put the Warriors on her shoulders and scored 41 points to lead Sterling to a 91-88 win.
Both teams were battling the first half as all shots were going down as both teams shot over 50% from the floor in the first half. The third quarter was the difference as the Panthers shot just 35% from the floor while the Warriors upped their shooting to 61%. The nine-point advantage in the third was the difference as the Warriors escaped with a three-point road win.

Key Statistics
Destiny Shepherd and Ashley Rubio were tough all night as they each ended the night shooting 8-12 from the floor. Britney Schroer was the other Panther to score in double figures as she finished with 10 points. York passed the ball extremely well with 17 assists and just eight turnovers.

Sterling held a plus-19 advantage on the boards. They also picked up seven blocks. Clason finished her career night with 41 points, nine rebounds, six assists, and four blocks.
York went to the line 27 times, but converted just 15 of them. The Panthers left the game on the line in the fourth quarter as they finished 3-10 at the line during the final period.
