York came out to play against a tough Sterling team and looked to have their best chance of beating the Warriors since 2013. Unfortunately the Panthers had to deal with Korynn Clason who put the Warriors on her shoulders and scored 41 points to lead Sterling to a 91-88 win.
Both teams were battling the first half as all shots were going down as both teams shot over 50% from the floor in the first half. The third quarter was the difference as the Panthers shot just 35% from the floor while the Warriors upped their shooting to 61%. The nine-point advantage in the third was the difference as the Warriors escaped with a three-point road win.
