After intense heat forced the game against Doane to be pushed to Crete, Nebraska the Panthers were able to battle to a 1-1 draw on Tuesday night.
York started out strong and was able to notch their first goal of the season in the 23
rd minute of play as
Alexandre Motta scored to give York the 1-0 lead.
York's defense held strong through the first 45 minutes as they took the 1-0 lead into intermission.
In the second half the Tigers were able to slot the defense as they scored in the 52
nd minute to tie the game 1-1. Neither team could capitalize down the stretch as the final whistle blew with the score 1-1.
Giovanni Krasovesky led the Panthers with two shots, one of which was on goal.
Diego Rubio was the other Panther to be credited with a shot on goal in the match.
Breno Prado picked up four saves in goal for the Panthers.
