Salina, KAN. - York University held strong for 79 minutes before the Coyotes of Kansas Wesleyan snuck the game-winning goal through to break the 0-0 tie. The Panthers were unable to answer back as they fell in their first KCAC game of the season.

The Panthers had two chances late as both Matias Madriaga and Patrick Nunes put shots on frame in the final minutes. But a strong stance by KWU's goalkeeper kept the Panthers with a goose egg on the scoreboard.

York picked up just three shots on goal all night and five shots total. Kansas Wesleyan had 19 shots with seven on frame. Breno Prado had six saves in the contest.

The Panthers look to get out of their offensive slump as they travel to Ottawa University on Saturday. York hasn't scored a goal since the third minute of their second game of the season. They will have a challenge ahead of them as the Braves have scored 16 goals in their last two games. They haven't allowed a goal in over 180 minutes of play.
