YORK, Neb. – The York University women's basketball team overcame a 19-point deficit to pick up an 83-78 victory over Bethel College on Senior Night.
The Panthers are now 7-17 overall, including 6-14 in KCAC action. The Threshers stand at 7-19 overall, including 7-13 against conference foes.

Corinna Minjarez's team was led by
Imani Honey's 17-point performance.
Jess McGrath added 16 points while
Arcadya Conway totaled 14 points to go along with six rebounds.
Britney Schroer chipped in 12 points while
Pasiko Hvichiani accounted for nine points, six assists and five rebounds.
Trailing by eight in the early going, a Conway lay-up off a pass from Schroer cut the deficit to six, 19-13, at the 2:37 mark.
York saw itself down 34-15 but
Imani Honey got things going with a pair of free throws and a lay-up, slicing the deficit to 15. Conway's three-ball off a pass from
Pasiko Hvichiani made it a 34-22 game with 7:01 to go in the half. A field goal by Honey and a jumper by Hvichiani cut the margin to nine, 38-29.
Down 41-29,
Xuriyah Harry made a free throw. She drilled a jumper and a three-ball from
Olivia Shannon made it a 41-35 contest at the break.
The Panthers continued to battle but trailed 51-39 with 7:50 to play in the third quarter. Harry and Honey made inside shots before a McGrath three-ball pulled the home team within five, 51-46. Down 56-49,
Ashley Rubio nailed a jumper. Honey found McGrath for another shot from downtown. Three Schroer free throws and a lay-up by Schroer gave the home team a 59-56 advantage with 3:18 to play in the third quarter.
The visitors tied it at 59-59 but York answered with a 7-0 spurt, capped by five straight points from McGrath, for a 66-59 lead. The Panthers maintained a six-point edge heading into the final period.
A pair of free throws by Bethel knotted the score at 72-72 with 6:30 to go. Rubio took a pass from Hvichiani and made a lay-up. Schroer made a free throw and Conway drilled a three-ball for a 78-72 margin.
Down the stretch, the Threshers pulled within two but Hvichiani made two free throws with 22 seconds left for a four-point lead. Conway recorded a steal and was fouled with 18 ticks to go. She hit one-of-two free throws, sealing the victory for the home team.
For the game, York buried 25-of-48 (52.1 percent) from the floor, including a stellar nine-of-16 (56.3 percent) from downtown. The squad got to the free throw line 32 times and calmly buried 24 attempts. The team held a 35-31 edge on the glass.
