Coach Walth begins his 10th season as the Head Baseball Coach at York University and his 22nd with the program.

In his 9 seasons at the helm, the program has compiled a total of 238 wins, 2 Conference Championships, 6 Conference Tournament appearances, and 4 NAIA National Tournament appearances. Coach Walth was named Conference Coach of the Year in 2015 and 2016. In 2016, the Panthers led the nation in numerous offensive categories. They were first in runs scored (582), runs batted in (528), runs scored per game (9.2), and runs batted in per game (8.4). They also finished 4th in total hits, 4th in hits per game, 6th in stolen bases, 6th in doubles, 7th in slugging, and 7th in batting average. Coach Walth’s highest finish to a season was in 2019 when the Panthers were runner-up in the Shreveport Bracket in the NAIA Opening Round Tournament. In his 9 seasons as head coach, Walth has many teams rank in the top 25 with the highest being the 2016 squad which finished 12th in NAIA Coaches Postseason Poll. Coach Walth has coached 9 NAIA All-Americans in his tenure at York. 

Prior to taking over as head coach, Walth served as the Associate Head Coach under then Head Coach Nick Harlan from 2002-2013. During his tenure, he helped guide the Panthers to 4 conference championships, 5 NAIA National Tournaments, and a World Series appearance in 2013.

Coach Walth signed a letter of intent to play at York University where he played outfield and led off for the Panthers. He led the team in batting average (.429), runs scored (78), and total hits (82). Coach Walth still holds many York University batting records. He was selected first-team All-Conference his junior and senior years.

Walth began his collegiate career at West Hills College in California where he played second base for the Falcons. During his time at West Hills, he was a Pre-Season All-American and was selected All-Conference in the Central Valley Conference leading his team in the majority of offensive categories.

Coach Walth holds a Master’s Degree in Sports Management from the United States Sports Academy and a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from York University. Coach Walth is originally from Maricopa, California and now resides in York with his wife, Jaclyn, two daughters Sadie (12) and Stella (10), and son Beau (5).
