Coach Brian Walth begins his 13th season as Head Baseball Coach at York University and his 25th overall season with the program.

During his 12 seasons as head coach, the Panthers have compiled 304 wins, captured two conference championships, made six conference tournament appearances, and earned four NAIA National Tournament appearances. Walth was named Conference Coach of the Year in both 2015 and 2016.

Walth’s highest postseason finish came in 2019 when the Panthers were runner-up in the Shreveport Bracket of the NAIA Opening Round Tournament. During his tenure, multiple York
teams have been ranked in the NAIA Top 25, including the 2016 team which finished 12th in the NAIA Coaches Postseason Poll. Under Walth’s leadership, York has produced 10 NAIA All-
Americans.

Before becoming head coach, Walth served as Associate Head Coach under Nick Harlan from 2002 to 2013. During that time, he helped guide the Panthers to four conference championships, five NAIA National Tournament appearances, and a World Series appearance in 2013.

As a player, Walth signed with York University where he played outfield and served as the Panthers’ leadoff hitter. He led the team in batting average (.429), runs scored (78), and total hits
(82), and still holds several York University batting records. Walth earned First-Team All-Conference honors during both his junior and senior seasons.

Walth began his collegiate playing career at West Hills College in California, where he played second base for the Falcons. He was a Preseason All-American and earned All-Conference
honors in the Central Valley Conference while leading his team in several offensive categories.

Walth holds a Master’s Degree in Sports Management from the United States Sports Academy and a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from York University. Originally from Maricopa,
California, he now resides in York with his wife, Jaclyn, their daughters Sadie (16) and Stella (13), and their son Beau (8).
