Collin Tucker

Collin Tucker, originally from Lakewood, Colorado, has been the Head Esports Coach at York University since January 2021. As the inaugural coach who started the program, he has led the Esports team to significant milestones, including a remarkable 2nd place finish in the NECC Division 3 Nationals for Rocket League in Spring 2024, two FIFA 22 Championships, and two teams qualifying for Fortnite Nationals in Spring 2024, with one team placing 15th in the nation.

Before transitioning into coaching, Coach Tucker competed on the Track and Field team at York College from 2011 to 2015. His background in athletics has provided him with a strong foundation for coaching and mentoring his Esports teams.

Coach Tucker holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from York College. His educational background and experience in competitive sports contribute to his effective coaching philosophy and strategic approach to Esports.

In addition to his coaching responsibilities, Tucker serves on the Board of Directors for the Nebraska Schools Esports Association (NSESA), where he plays a pivotal role in advancing the development and recognition of Esports within the state.

Collin Tucker resides in York with his wife, Audrey Tucker. His dedication to his teams and his vision for the future of the Esports program at York University make him a valuable asset to the Panther community.
