Jeremiah Ahart

In Ahart’s first two years on the York College Men’s Basketball staff, he was a graduate assistant and after graduation was retained by the program as an assistant coach. As an assistant coach, Jeremiah leads the strength and conditioning program for the Men’s Basketball team as well as being the player development coach.

Prior to returning to York College, Jeremiah finished his professional playing career with CVJM Loerrach in Germany. During his time out of the country, Ahart also was a basketball trainer and youth coach for the Loerrach basketball club. Jeremiah ended his basketball playing career averaging 18.4 points a game and also helped the club move to a higher league.

In the summers of 2012-2014, Jeremiah Ahart was serving as a team member or tour director for News Release Basketball Ministries. As a part of News Release, Ahart received the opportunity to help kids learn more about God and also hone their basketball skills in various countries like France, Switzerland, and Germany. During the summers of 2019-2020, Jeremiah was a basketball instructor for Point Guard College in Texas.

Jeremiah played his college career at York and was a part of the Panther's first national tournament appearance. He holds a bachelor's in Sports Management (’14) from York College. After his professional career, Ahart came back to York College to start and complete his master’s in Organizational and Global Leadership (’20) and work as a graduate assistant for the Men’s Basketball program.
