Justin Carver

This will be Coach Justin Carver's 8th season coaching at York College and 7th season as Head Coach. Coach Carver grew up in Boys Ranch, Texas and recieved his undergraduate degree at York College. In High School Justin was All-State in Wrestling, Track and Baseball. As a collegiate athlete he qualified for nationals in over 15 different events; where he was a NCCAA All-American 5 times. (Long Jump x3 , Indoor Triple Jump, Decathlon) A National Runner-up in both Indoor and Outdoor Long Jump, as well as the Decathlon.

As a Head Coach he has coached over 100 NCCAA National Qualifiers, 21 NCCAA National Champions, 68 NCCAA All-Americans, and 11 NAIA All-Americans.

He has been named College Conference Coach of the Year 12 times

Justin's education includes a Bachelor of Arts degree from York College, a personal fitness trainer certification and a Level 1 coaching certification from USA Track and Field. He is currently working on his Master's degree in Exercise Science. Carver is passionate about his job, and helping young athletes reach their full potential both on and off the track. Justin and his wife Joanna have a daughter named Shiloh and two dogs: Destiny, and Arcadia.
