Jeff Cox

  • Title
    West Coast Recruiting Coordinator
Jeff Cox brings over 26 years of coaching experience in baseball and softball, known for his contagious energy, relentless work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to build winning teams — he’s never had a losing season as a head coach.

His career includes success at every level he’s coached at: 3 Babe Ruth championships, 2 Valley runner-up finishes in high school baseball, and a 72-11 record with the Central Valley Rattlers travel team, with teams finishing top 10 in the nation twice.

In softball, he helped launch the Madera County Legends travel organization and later led the Clovis Rockets to their first-ever PGF Nationals appearance, finishing top 16. Most recently, he helped guide Liberty High School (Madera, CA) to a 2025 Central Section D3 Championship and a NorCal state semifinal finish.

Coach Cox’s coaching philosophy is simple and impactful: players can always control two things — their hustle and their attitude. Now serving as West Coast Recruiting Coordinator under Head Coach Aaron Alvarez — a former player of his — Coach Cox is dedicated to helping student-athletes succeed both on and off the field so they can become true champions in life.

Jeff and his wife Ashley of 19 years have 2 daughters Macey 17 and Kendall 14. He enjoys playing golf in his spare time, and spending quality time with family and friends.
