York University (NE)

Coach Nething is in his first year with York College Track and Field and Cross Country. Previous to York College, Coach Nething coached Track and Field for 12 years at Montrose High School in Montrose, Colorado. Seven of those years he was the head coach but all twelve he primarily coached the throwing events.

Coach Nething has coached 12 state qualifying throwers and 10 state placers in his time at Montrose.

Coach Nething competed for York College where he was a NCCAA All American his senior year in the discus. Coach Nethings passion for Track and Field has grown every year he has coached and now starts a new adventure at York. His bride Crystal and his 3 young boys have been brought on the journey as well.
