York University (NE)

Kenny Miller is a native of Madera, California. He is the son of Gene and Sidney Miller and the husband
of Roni (Arellano 01’) Miller. Kenny joined the United States Coast Guard on September 16, 1996 and
served 20 years, finishing his service as a Chief Warrant Officer. Kenny played competitive rugby for the
Coast Guard and the San Diego Old Aztecs. He currently serves as a liaison for HSBC World Rugby Sevens
with Team Great Britain and as a manager for Professional Premier Sevens Rugby. Most recently, the
team he managed was the Rhino Loggerheads who finished as Premier Sevens Rugby Champions.
Kenny’s wife Roni served as the York University head softball coach from 2014-2024 and he served as
her assistant coach from 2016-2024. Kenny joined the York University Athletic Staff in 2021 and has
served as a Game Day Manager, Assistant Sports Information Director and most recently was promoted
to the Director of Transportation.

Kenny and Roni have two daughters, Peyton and Aubrey and a son, Doolin (family dog).
