Melanie Baxa (JR/Tobias, Neb) was named to the All-Tournament Team for her efforts over the weekend at the Missouri Valley Invitational. Although the Panthers dropped four games over the weekend Baxa played well enough to gain the recognition from other coaches with her play. Baxa averaged 6 assists per match and 4.4 digs per match as well.

Coach Anderson said "I was really pleased with how hard Melanie played and the effort she put in over the weekend. Unfortunately we were unable to get a win on this trip but the talent Mel showed was evident as the other coaches voted her to the All-Tournament Team."
