Hillsboro, KAN. - After falling in game one the Panthers rebounded in game two but couldn't hang on in games three and four as the Panthers lost to the Bluejays 17-25, 25-20, 17-25, 18-25. Molly Bich (SR/Billings, Mont) led the Panthers with 12 kills out of 35 attempts. Haley Scoffield (SR/Casper, Wyo) was second on the team with seven kills, and added five blocks on the defensive end.
York had four players register double-digit digs, led by Kayli Riesgo (SR/Tuscon, Ariz) with 20. Naomi Warren (JR/Fort Worth, Texas) added 15, while Jasmine Scarbrough (FR/Arlington, Texas) had 13. Kaylin Miller (FR/Lincoln, Neb) rounded it out with 11 digs. Riesgo also had 31 assists on the night.
York has a bye weekend as the rest of the KCAC finishes out their regular season. The Panthers have earned a spot in the KCAC tournament set to take place in Hutchinson, Kan. on November 15 and 16.
