York volleyball played a great match on Wednesday night down in Wichita, Kansas against the Friends University Falcons. However, it was the home team that came away with the win in a match that went five sets. After losing the first set 25-21 the Panthers came back and took game two 25-22. Another back-and-forth game saw the Falcons take the third game, before the Panthers tied it up again winning the fourth set 25-21. The fifth set was all Friends as they took it 15-9.
Jasmine Scarbrough led three Panthers in double-digit kills with 18.
Emma Kerley added 11 and Alan Barron had 10.
Cassie Richardson was one of four Panthers with double digit digs as well with a team-high 26. Scarbrough added 17,
Anna Tate had 16, and Mariah Jana added 13 along with 45 assists.
Anna Tate added four service aces.
The Panthers hit just .124 as a team as the Falcons defense picked up 107 digs.
