YORK, Neb. – The York University women's basketball team lost a hard-fought 75-64 contest to Kansas Wesleyan Wednesday evening.
The Panthers are now 3-10 overall, including a 2-7 ledger in KCAC play.

Arcadya Conway's game-best 22 points on eight-of-14 shooting from the floor.
Imani Honey added 17 markers on five-of-11 shooting from the field.
Britney Schroer was huge, tallying 14 points and 11 rebounds for a double-double.
Destiny Shepherd chipped in eight points in the contest.
Trailing 6-2 in the early going,
Destiny Shepherd converted a lay-up off a pass from Schroer. Schroer's two charity tosses knotted the game at the 6:45 mark. Down by four, 14-10, Conway drilled a pair of foul shots with 1:56 to go in the frame. Down 22-15, Conway hit a free throw and a jumper to slice the deficit to four, 22-18.
Conway's lay-up made it a two-point game just 25 seconds into the second quarter. The visitors managed to push the advantage to 17 and held a 15-point margin at halftime.
Down 49-32 in the third frame, Honey, Conway and Schroer all hit shots to pull within 11 at 49-38. The Panthers made it an 11-point contest again at 52-41 with 3:57 to play in the quarter after a Conway free throw but Kansas Wesleyan maintained a 56-43 advantage going into the fourth frame.
Trailing 60-47, Honey made two free throws and Schroer hit a jumper to pull within nine, 60-51, but that was as close as the home team would get the rest of the way.
For the game, York hit 22-of-62 from the floor (35.5 percent). The squad hit two shots from downtown. The Panthers made 18-of-22 (81.8 percent) from the charity stripe. The squad snagged 35 rebounds, including nine on the offensive glass. York recorded 20 points off turnovers and held a 24-22 edge in the paint.
