YORK, Neb. – The York University women's soccer team lost a 3-0 decision to Friends University Saturday afternoon.

The Panthers are now 0-8 on the season, including 0-4-1 in KCAC action.

Just 29 seconds into the match, Lois Mattock registered a shot, but it missed wide. In the fourth minute, Gracie Reynolds went on the attack and promptly belted an attempt. However, it sailed just high of the crossbar.

Down 1-0, Ellie Reynolds' shot in the 13^th minute missed high. York placed its first shot on goal in the 21^st minute, coming off the boot of Mattock, but it was thwarted by the keeper. The Panthers had a chance to knot the score at the 33:43 mark, but Gracie Reynolds' shot missed wide of the frame.

Trailing 2-0, York's Margot Bregeat accounted for a hard shot in the 59^th minute, but it was saved by the keeper.

The Falcons added a goal late in the match for the final 3-0 score.

For the match, York posted six shots, including two on goal. The team earned three corner kicks.

Between the pipes, Harumi Cornejo played all 90 minutes and stopped seven shots.
