YANKTON, S.D. –
Jadin Johnson scored the game-winning shot with five ticks on the clock as the York University men's basketball team posted a 92-90 win at Mount Marty.
The Panthers are now 2-3 on the season.

King Solomon added 23 points while
Dave Dalge contributed 12 points.
Logan Beckstrom chipped in 11 markers while
Landon Miller and
Devin Carroll had nine points apiece.
Beckstrom and Dalge had five boards each. Dalge had six assists while Jalin Johnson tallied five.
Trailing 6-3, Beckstrom converted a three-point play. Dalge found him for a lay-up at the 6:48 mark. Solomon's jumper extended the margin to four, 10-6. Down by four,
Jadin Johnson took a pass from
Jaxon Kilmurry and nailed a three-ball, cutting the deficit to one, 32-31. Dalge hit an old-fashioned three-point play to make it 38-37 with 3:56 to play.
Miller netted a three-point bucket, tying the score at 42-42. Dalge connected with
Jadin Johnson for another shot from distance, knotting the score at 47-47. Mount Marty hit a free throw for a 48-47 lead at the break.
Dalge canned a shot from downtown to start the second half of the back-and-forth affair. Tied at 57-57, Solomon nailed a three-point bucket at the 15:03 mark.
Jadin Johnson's basket gave the Panthers a 64-61 advantage. Leading 66-65, Dalge made an inside shot for a three-point margin at the 10:58 mark.

Jadin Johnson hit an inside bucket at the 5:37 mark for a two-point cushion. A three-point bucket from Carroll gave the visitors an 81-78 lead. With 4:03 to play, Beckstrom provided another three-point basket, extending the lead to four, 84-80.
Mount Marty embarked on an 8-0 spurt before Carroll canned a three-point basket with 2:01 to play.

For the game, York hit 34-of-60 from the floor, including a sizzling 17-of-26 from downtown. The squad pulled down 23 rebounds. The Panthers dished out 18 assists and netted 18 points off turnovers. York also scored 24 points in the paint.
