SEWARD, Neb. – The York University women's soccer team lost a 4-0 contest at Concordia Wednesday evening.
The Panthers are now 0-4-1 on the season.
The home squad took a 1-0 lead in the 40
th minute and the score stayed that way until the 57:31 mark. Concordia tacked on a goal in the 69
th minute before the team found the back of the net with 10 seconds remaining.
York was unable to record its first shot of the contest util the 48:15 mark.
Ellie Reynolds launched an attempt that missed just right of the frame. Ten minutes later,
Gracie Reynolds belted a shot that narrowly missed the goal.
Simone Loga garnered a shot in the 77
th minute of action.
For the match, York accounted for three shots.
Harumi Cornejo played 65 minutes between the pipes. She saw six shots and stopped four attempts.
Sofia Falcao registered the final 25 minutes in goal. Falcao notched five saves.
