YORK, Neb. – The York University men's basketball team dropped an 86-45 decision to Oklahoma Wesleyan Saturday afternoon.
The Panthers are now 5-13 on the year, including 3-9 in KCAC action.
Head coach
Mitch McMullen's squad was paced by
Logan Beckstrom's team-high 13 points. He also grabbed four rebounds.
Dave Dalge added nine points while
Jadin Johnson,
Jomar Ezell,
Shaun Armstrong,
Jaxon Kilmurry,
Eli Nutting,
Landon Miller and
Terrence Packer had three points apiece.
Donn'Yae Ferguson notched two points.
Ferguson and
Eben Effah had four boards apiece. Johnson dished out four of the team's nine assists while also tying Ezell for the team lead with three thefts apiece. Effah had each of the team's blocks.
For the game, York hit 16-of-62 from the floor. Half of the team's made field goals came from distance. The Panthers hit five-of-eight from the charity stripe. McMullen's team grabbed 36 rebounds. The squad had nine assists on the 16 field goals.
