Men's Basketball: Johnson earns All-Conference Honorable Mention

YORK — York University men's basketball senior Jadin Johnson has been named All-KCAC Honorable Mention for the 2025-26 season, as announced by the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference in its annual postseason awards release.

Johnson finished his senior campaign among the conference's top scorers during KCAC play at 17.9 points per game, ranking fourth on the league leaderboard. 

Over the course of the 2025-26 season, Johnson appeared in 22 games, averaging 17.9 points per contest while leading the team in minutes played at 33.7 per game. He shot 41.5 percent from the field, knocked down 35 three-pointers, and converted 75.5 percent of his free throws (77-of-102). In addition to his scoring production, Johnson averaged 4.3 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game, showcasing his all-around impact for the Panthers.

Head Coach Mitch McMullen praised Johnson's impact on the program.

"Jadin has been a steady competitor for us all year," McMullen said. "His consistency, leadership, and ability to step up in big moments have meant a great deal to our team. We're proud to see him recognized by the conference coaches."
