LINCOLN, Neb. – The York University women's golf team finished 13
th at the Kaitlyn Erickson/Doane Invite, which wrapped up Tuesday afternoon.
The Panthers combined to shoot 259-over par, 827. After opening with a round of 155-over par, York shot 104-over par during the final 18 holes of competition.
Interim head coach
Austin Wheeler's team was paced by
Sydney Fernandez's 35-over par, 177. She finished 23
rd at the event. Fernandez had a birdie on No. 17.
Penelope Heaton snagged 58
th place after shooting 65-over par, 207.
Erica Testerman garnered 64
th place at 73-over par, 215. She birdied the No. 17, which played as a par-three, 105-yard hole.
Alba Kindelan was not far behind Testerman for 69
th place. She wrapped up the tournament at 86-over par, 228.
Doane won the tournament at 69-over par, 637. Hastings was second (+101, 669) while Saint Mary and Doane (B) tied for third at 115-over par, 683.
