Taylor Larson belted a hit up the middle and each moved up 60 feet on a wild pitch. After Hoshowski was erased on a fielder's choice, Taylor Jones stole second base. Larson and Jones raced home on a base knock by Bethany Wright, making it 3-2.

Trailing 4-2 in the fourth, Megan Brownson posted a one-out single to left field and hustled to second on Morgan Cameron's base hit to right field. A walk to Nelson loaded the bases. Two batters later, Hoshowski roped a single down the left field line, plating Brownson and Cameron while knotting the score at 4-4.
