YORK - Ciara Williams (SR/San Diego, Calif) made the most of her senior night as she scored 19 points and collected 10 rebounds, but the Panthers were unable to come away with the upset against No. 18 Kansas Wesleyan. York fell 82-60 in their home finale but put up quite the fight.

The Panthers started out strong going back and forth with the Coyotes before a full court press took the Panthers out of rhythm. York found themselves behind at the end of the first quarter 24-14, but after a chance to regroup during the break, York was much better in the second frame with a 19-17 scoring deficit.

The second half was a tougher one as KWU jumped out quick and outscored the Panthers 26-12 in the third quarter putting the game out of reach. KWU forced 29 turnovers and was plus-13 in scoring off of turnovers.

Maria Lopez (JR/Mendota, CA) and Amaia Diez (FR/Pamplona, Spain) each scored in double figures as well with 12 and 13, respectively. Haley Scoffield (JR/Casper, Wyo) was solid on the defensive side as she collected 10 rebounds.
