YORK - Friends University jumped out to a quick lead after one period as they led the Panthers 13-5. The rest of the game was back and forth but the Panthers couldn't get closer than the eight points spotted in the first period.

Kiara Pesina (SO/San Antonio, Texas) led the Panthers with 14 points on 4-of-15 shooting. Amaia Diez (SO/Pamplona, Spain) was the only other Panther to score in double figures as she added in 11.

York struggled to shoot the ball all night as they combined for 33% from the field, just 12% from beyond the arc. The Falcons, on the other hand, shot 44% from the floor. The Falcons also outrebounded the Panthers 41-30.

York will travel to Sterling College on Wednesday before hosting Bethel College on Saturday afternoon.
