York College held a 14-point lead going into the final period on Saturday afternoon. However, a dismal ten minutes saw the lead evaporate and the Threshers from Bethel College forced overtime before beating the Panthers 70-64.

The Threshers put the pressure on York allowing them to only score five points over the final ten minutes and shoot less than 20% from the floor. York didn't help themselves from the charity stripe either as they converted just 25% during the final minutes as well.

York was just 5-14 for the night from the free-throw line. York outscored the Threshers 29-13 on points off turnovers but was still left hanging their heads after a double-digit lead slipped through their finger tips. Kiara Pesina and Jessica McGrath were a strong tandem in the first three quarters as they each led the Panthers in scoring.
