Box Score 2 YORK - York battled for 40 minutes Wednesday night to pick up a big 58-55 win over the Bulldogs from McPherson College. The Panthers were down 22-10 in the second quarter before going on a 15-3 run to tie the game at 25 going into intermission.
The Panthers jumped out quickly in the third quarter before a back-and-forth matchup ensued for the 10-minute period. After trailing 44-42 going into the final period the Panthers defense steeped up to the challenge. York held the Bulldogs to just 11 points in the fourth quarter and two forced turnovers in the final minute sealed the victory.

The Panthers only shot 34% from the floor, but York forced 29 turnovers, which accounted for 11 more shot attempts. The Bulldogs shot 40% from the floor and outrebounded the Panthers 39-36.
By The Numbers
Four Panthers scored ind double figures led by Imani Honey's game-high 24. Shawnau Johnson picked up 12 points while Kiara Pesina and Yionis Keith had 11 each. Keith and Pesina were stellar defensively as they accounted for 11 of the 16 steals for the Panthers.
