Box Score YORK - Julia Trujillo scored her 1000th career point as a Panther on Saturday afternoon as the York fell to Sterling College 100-66. The Panthers had their work cut out for them as they hosted the top-seeded team in the KCAC and the 8th ranked team in the NAIA. The Warriors proved their place with a quick 20-point advantage after the first ten minutes. York struggled to get the ball past half-court with a stifling Warriors' defense. As tough as the defense was the Warriors' offense was clicking just as well as they shot over 50% from the floor in the game. Trujillo was the best answer the Panthers had as she scored a game-high 27 points in the contest. Midway through the third quarter, she converted two free throws to hit 1000 points in her third season as a Panther.
