LEAVENWORTH, Kan. – The York University women's cross country team took ninth at the KCAC Championships Saturday morning.
St. Mary won the KCAC Championships with 15 points. Kansas Wesleyan took second with 57 points while Evangel was third with 95 points. Tabor (110 points) and Friends (180 points) concluded the top five teams.

Jadon Hess' time of 28:12.51 for 45
th place. Megan Dehart was not far behind her, taking 49
th in 29:01.28.
Morgan Peterson secured third place on the team after crossing the finish line in 29:07.58 for 51
st place.
Lilly Carr was one spot behind Peterson with a time of 29:22.06.
Maddie Davis accounted for 57
th place after tallying a mark of 31:09.12.
Morgan Dinkler (31:58.45) and Maya Colle (35:59.95) were 66
th and 83
rd, respectively.
York totaled 254 points in the 13-team field.
The Panthers return to action Friday, Nov. 15 at the NCCAA Championship in Warsaw, Ind. The meet is slate to start at 10 a.m.
