Ryan Hill Named Head Golf Coach at York University

YORK, Neb. — York University has announced the hiring of Ryan Hill as the new head coach of the Panthers' men's and women's golf programs.

Hill is a recent graduate of Tabor College, where he competed for four years as a member of the Bluejays golf team. He served as a three-year team captain and earned numerous top-15 finishes during his collegiate career. He concluded his playing career this past spring with a 3-under-par 69 in the final round of the KCAC Golf Championships.

"I'm excited that Ryan has joined the YU coaching staff," said York University Director of Athletics Brian Walth. "He's a young man eager to take over our program and continue building on the foundation we've established."

Originally from Arizona, Hill graduated from Tabor College with a bachelor's degree in accounting and finance. In addition to his collegiate play, he has participated in several amateur tournaments and golf clinics.

"I'm thankful for the opportunity that Brian Walth and the administration have given me to become the next head coach for the golf programs at York," Hill said. "I'm excited to help inspire and develop the next generation of golfers and help them become better people on and off the golf course."

Hill, who recently got married, plans to relocate to the York area in the coming week.
