Sydney Fernandez finished 16
th at the York University Fall Invite, which wrapped up Tuesday afternoon.
Fernandez shot 40-over par for the event. After opening with a 22-over par, she registered a score of 18-over par for the second day of competition. Fernandez birdied the par-five, 497-yard No. 12, Tuesday.
Penelope Heaton was 30
th after recording a 64-over par. She notched scores of 30-over par and 34-over par.
Alba Kindelan was 38
th after registering a score of 99-over par. After starting at 59-over par on Monday, Kindelan garnered a score of 40-over par on Tuesday.
Park won the tournament after shooting 10-over par. Concordia (+120) and Saint Mary (NE) (+137) were second and third, respectively.
York competed as individuals at the event and did not record a team score.
The Panthers return to action Oct. 19-20 at the KCAC Women's Golf Championship.
