Cory Minjarez (SR/El Paso, Texas) was named to the All-MCAC Team ahead of the opening round of the conference tournament this weekend. Minjarez led the Panthers to a 10-17 record as she averaged 19.6 points and 4.6 rebounds per game. She was second in the conference in scoring and led the conference with 3.37 steals/game.

Five players were recogniezed for their academic achievements: Zanoria Echols (SR/Olive Branch, Miss), Elizabeth Maher (SO/Edmond, Okla), Hannah Paker, Alexandra Payne (JR/Lake Dallas, Texas) and Courtney Swope (SR/Spring Hill, Kan). In order to be named a MCAC scholar athlete you must have attended the institution for two semesters and hold a 3.25 cumulative GPA.
