Men's Basketball can't overcome poor shooting in loss to Bethel

YORK - After shooting 44% in the first half the Panthers second half percentage fell to 26. York created 21 more shots in the second frame, but only converted two more than Bethel. That statistic told the story in an evenly matched game as York fell 78-68.

Patrick Burnett (SR/Erie, Pa) continued his solid efforts leading the team with 20 points and 12 rebounds. Lance Ewell (JR/Brock, Texas) added 10 points and seven rebounds, while Aaron Munday-Rashid (JR/Melbourne, Australia) scored 11 off of the bench.

The Threshers used a balanced attack as four different players scored in double figures for the Threshers.

York struggled to find a flow all night as their usual up-tempo rhythm couldn't find a groove. It was the fourth game in seven games which could have played a role in the tempo. After the four-game stretch, the Panthers get six days off before hosting Oglala Lakota College on Friday night and (10) Southwestern College on Saturday afternoon.

York falls to 9-10 on the season and 7-7 in KCAC play.
