Box Score YORK - Brooke Halterman led the Panthers in a five-set thriller on Saturday night with 16 kills on .538 pct. York won the first two sets and looked to be on their way to a sweep before the Eagles pushed back. Avila took the next two sets to force a game five. Halterman made sure the Panthers were going to take the match as she hammered down her 16th kill to give York the 15-11 win.
Halterman was one of three Panthers to record double-digit kills. Brooke Winquist smashed down 15, while Danielle Armendariz tallied 13. Kenna Tarnowski added eight kills and six blocks to the score sheet. Shiloh Lively had nine kills for the Panthers.
Darby Wright was the mastermind in making sure the attacks were there with a career-high 54 assists on the night. She added 14 digs to her total as well. Alexandria Garcia had a team-high 17 digs.
York will travel to Kansas City on Wednesday before hosting the Bethany Swedes on Saturday for their final home game of the season. The game is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
