Box Score YORK - York spread the love Friday night as the Panthers beat the Eagles of Faith Baptist Bible College 84-41. York limited their starters to an average of 13 minutes and the bench saw significant playing time in the win. Four Panthers scored in double figures led by Jordan Marble's 15 points on 5-11 shooting.
York jumped out to an early lead and never allowed the Eagles to get comfortable in a half-court offense. The Panthers forced FBBC to shoot under 14% from the field in the first half as they scored just 12 points. York, on the other hand, shot over 55% from the field as they led by 33 going into intermission. Much Biel and Erik Talton scored in double figures for the starters with 12 and 10, respectively. Biel also snagged eight rebounds.
Tyrik King was the other Panther to score in double figures as he finished with 12 points and eight rebounds.
York held a 56-35 advantage in the rebounding column. The Panthers also scored 44 points in the paint, while limiting the Eagles to just 10.
York travels to Wayne State on Monday night for an exhibition contest. The Panthers begin KCAC play on Wednesday as they travel to Ottawa University.
