Bartlesville, OKLA. - York College stormed back from a 17-point deficit to beat Oklahoma Wesleyan 56-46 on Monday night. The Panthers held the Eagles to just 15 points in the second half to overcome the large deficit. After trailing by 13 points after the first quarter the Panthers stormed a comeback with some pressure defense.

York held the Eagles scoreless from the field during the third quarter. The Eagles went over 13 minutes without a field goal in the second half. Oklahoma Wesleyan shot 50% from the field in the first quarter, but that number fell drastically as they finished with just 26% shooting from the floor. York held a 22-12 advantage on points in the paint. York also forced 18 turnovers which turned into 18 points.

The Panthers had three players score in double figures led by Amaia Diez with 16. Julia Trujillo and Kiara Pesina were right behind with 15 points each. The Panthers broke a 10-game losing skid with the win on the road.
