Yankton, S.D. - York University battled hard on the road Wednesday night but fell in straights sets to the Mount Marty Lancers 25-21, 25-19, 25-19. The Panthers will have another opportunity to face the Lancers, this time on their home floor on September 13.

Aubrey Bostick led the Panthers with 10 kills, while Danielle Armendariz was right behind with eight. Shelby Fronk led the team with 13 assists and Sam Harris finished with nine. Fronk added 11 digs to her resume. Cassie Richardson led the Panthers with 13 digs, with fellow teammate Jasmine Scarbrough right behind with 12.

York travels to Morningside College this weekend to compete in the CSM United Tournament.
