DODGE CITY, Kan. – The York University women's golf team competed at the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference Match Play Event, which wrapped up this week.
Head coach
Jefferson Cook's team lost in the opening round to Bethel (KS) by a 4-0 score.
Alba Kindelan was up by as many as three before falling by one to her opposition.
The team then faced off against Ottawa and won by a 3-2 count.
Sydney Fernandez posted a win over her opposition by two strokes.
Riley Stuhr lost a hard fought 4 & 3 match to her foe, and
Regin Dunham lost 4 & 2. The Panthers picked up the final win since Ottawa only had three golfers competing.
The Panthers return to action Oct. 20-21 at the Railwood Golf Course in Holts Summit, Mo.
