HESSTON, Kan. – The York University women's golf team had a pair of student-athletes compete as individuals at the Heston GC Spring Shootout, which wrapped up Tuesday.

The Panthers were led by Sydney Fernandez's 14^th-place finish. After shooting 26-over par to start the event, she registered scores of 19-over par and 17-over par. For the 54-hole tournament, Fernandez finished at 62-over par.

Alba Kindelan took 33^rd after shooting 118-over par.

Baker won the tournament while Friends and Ottawa take second and third, respectively.

The Panthers return to action Apr. 7-8 at the DWU Spring Invite in Mitchell, S.D.
