NORTH NEWTON, Kan. – The York University women's cross country team finished ninth at the Bethel College Muthama-Rogers Invitational Saturday.
The Panthers were led by
Maddie Davis. She finished 33
rd after recording a mark of 22:08.88.
Lilly Carr's time of 24:54.66 in the 5k event allowed her to take 49
th.
Megan DeHart took 51
st after crossing in 26:21.07.
Megan Johnston snagged 53
rd place with a time of 27:50.49 while
Morgan Dinkler was not far behind, taking 56
th after posting a time of 28:19.24.
The York University men's cross country team had a few solid performances as well on Saturday.
Austin Oman took 58
th after posting a time of 29:57.58 in the 8k.
Drew Lugafet snagged 77
th place with a time of 30:51.25 while
Braden McNair took 94
th. He crossed the line in 31:56.53.
The Panthers return to action on Saturday, Oct. 11, at the Carol Swenson Invite beginning at 10 a.m.
