LEAVENWORTH, Kan. – The York University men's cross country team took 12
th at the KCAC Championships Saturday morning.
Head coach
Justin Carver's team was led by
Trenton Orlando's 57
th-place finish. He crossed the line in 30:32.37 for the 8k event.
Drew Lugafet was not far behind him, taking 60
th. Lugafet crossed the finish line in 31:14.15.
Jaden Beske notched a 66
th-place effort. He accounted for a time of 32:42.19.
Andrew Heinrichs posted a time of 33:41.01, which was good enough for 68
th place.
Cooper Dillan garnered 74
th place after registering a time of 36:48.31.
York tallied 325 points at the event.
St. Mary won the KCAC Championships with 22 points. Kansas Wesleyan (42 points), Evangel (95 points), Tabor (123 points) and Friends (150 points) rounded out the top five spots.
The Panthers return to action Friday, Nov. 15 at the NCCAA Championship in Warsaw, Ind. The meet is slate to start at 10 a.m.
