York College scored two first-half goals in their final home game on the season beating the Avila University Eagles 2-0. Breanna Bembenek scored just two minutes into the game after Jazmin Pineda split the defense with her pass. Bembenek added another goal off of the assist from Kaitlyn Morales in the 25th minutes.

York's pressure and aggressiveness were the difference on a cool, windy Saturday afternoon. After scoring just two minutes into the game the Panthers had the advantage and never let up.

Alexa Moreno was a big help as well as she picked up five saves and didn't allow a goal in 90 minutes of play.

The Panthers will finish their regular season on Wednesday as they travel to Bethany College. York currently sits at 6-4-1 on the season and 5-4-1 in KCAC play.
