Box Score YORK - The Panthers used a big second half to come from behind to beat the visiting Friends Falcons Wednesday night 84-81.
After trailing by nine at the break the Panthers started the second half with an 8-0 thanks in large part to Trevon Dennis as he hit back-to-back three-pointers. Thirteen of Dennis' 15 points came in the second half. York needed another run midway through the second period to come back from a 57-49 deficit to tie the game at 57. The final 13 minutes of the game only saw one sequence that was greater than one possession.
The Panthers were able to seal the win in the final 15 seconds of play. York held a 82-81 lead with possession of the ball. However, Dwight Glover turned the fall over and the Falcons looked to take a last shot with less than five seconds remaining with the chance to walk off the floor with the game-winner. However, as the Falcons drove to the hoop the pass to the block was intercepted by Erik Talton and knocked back to Glover. The Falcons were forced to foul and he sank both free-throw attempts for the win.
