MARYVILLE, Mo. – The York University women's track and field team opened the season at Northwest Missouri State Saturday.
Kamrie Dillan earned a third-place effort in the 300m, crossing the line in 42.28.
Ty Irvin finished ninth in 45.34 while
Felicity Johnson's effort of 45.64 was good enough for 10
th.
Cierra Dringman's time of 46.58 allowed her to take 11
th in the event.
Ascha Utter registered an eighth-place mark in the weight throw. She registered an effort of 14.42m (47'3.75").
Jaydon Hess accounted for a 24
th-place effort in the 600-yard event. She posted a time of 1:41.32 for 24
th.
The Panthers return to action Friday, Dec. 13, when they compete at the UNK Pre-Holiday Meet as well as the Concordia Pre-Holiday Invite.
